Once again (it seems to be the norm lately) there were many, many, many very funny submissions to the caption contest. Thank goodness I don’t have to choose the winner myself this month!
I pasted up seventeen captions that I loved (!), and in an effort to pare it down to a reasonable number I made the mistake of enlisting my husband’s help. It was my intention to present six finalists… but because Nathan and I have different senses of humor we ended up with eight. In the end, I was ready to pare it down to five finalists, but the three I was at last prepared to eliminate were Nathan’s favorites.
